Lisa suffers from a condition so bad it often causes sufferers to commit suicide.
Imagine a pain so severe you are unable to even bear the kiss of your own child - well thats exactly the situation Lisa Higgs, 38, found herself in after being diagnosed with a condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia.
Nicknamed 'The Suicide Disease,' Trigeminal Neuralgia is a neurologic condition that affects one of the facial nerves, giving the sufferer waves of excruciating pain normally down one side of their face.

Just wanted to say its good to not be alone anymore. Haven't been on our site for a few months do to many things seisure wise and trying to live a normal life. Its quite difficult with the medications but life goes on. Thanks to all of y0u, just being there makes me feel somehow a little more normal, if that makes any sense.
