Oh poor you hun, I too have Bilateral TN , but have had MVD right side and waiting to see if I am having the left side done. I have never heard of cyber knife what is that? xxx

My neurosurgeon has diagnosed Bilateral TN, I saw a neurologist a few weeks ago and he is doubtful! he thinks it is Idiopathic Migraine!!!! has anyone else had experience of this

What treatments have you undergone (or will undergo)? With what success?: had MVD in 2009

Please share your TN story with us...(How did your pain first emerge and then change over time? Were you ever misdiagnosed? Do you believe your pain was caused by dental work? Have you had unsuccessful surgeries or medications?): after diagnosis I tried a variety of medication before having MVD in 2009, now a year later I have been diagnosed with bilateral TN and am currently signed off work and awaiting appointment to see neurologist.....

Your MVD you had in 2009 - was it successful? Is the pain you have now from the other side of your face? I can relate totally to bilateral TN as I have that also. We have smaller off shoot groups you should be able to see on the main page - one is for those discussing MVD's and another is bilateral TN'ers'.

Best of luck at your Neurologiy appointment - please let me know how you go with that.
