"Alternative" Treatments..........

Now the wonderful Bobs post gave me pause to think a little about all of the treatments I've heard being used over the years and not wanting to hijack his thread I thought I would add another one, cause some of these are just hillarious. Now Before I start, I'm not going to write all of these off as hocus pocus, because some of them do have legitimate reasoning/logic behind them, but you can choose what and which you want to take stock in, all I can say is that I've not whole help for anything…See More

The Guilt of Neuralgia........

Posted on June 19, 2011 at 10:22am 8 Comments

Hi guys,

I'm not on this board too much now, as I spend most of my time on the LWGPN board now, but I check in occasionally and couldn't not post today.

But for me the psychological toll of the neuralgia is taking a heavy price, I hope you don't mind if I share my feelings on this.

I'm 29, been with my man 12 years, married 5, and believe me our relationship is far from perfect, in many many ways, but yet we continue to muddle on and I…

Anticonvulsants actually causing pain?

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 9:52am 13 Comments

Hello hello my lovely lot.

I've come on to muse and mumble again, I'm not sure if I've blogged about this on here or gone into it in much depth other than in individual conversations, but I saw someone posting about this and I lost the post ( the joys of not having to have a chance to reply at work!) And funnily enough the subject came up again on another board that I use this week too, so I thought I would come on and share my experience of it.

Now this is very much a… Continue

Suck it up................?!?! Erm, I don't think so!!!

Posted on September 25, 2010 at 7:55am 3 Comments

Hello hello my lovely lot,

I was just reading a post that Nancy left in my last blog and it reminded me of a conversation I've had with a friend of mine.

Now my friends mother has neuralgia, or so she calls it, from what I've heard though I think it's far more likely to be AFP, or ATN, anyway my pop-armchair- non medical diagnosis of a woman I've never so much as spoken to aside, there is a point that I will come to.

Now my friend has serious medical issues herself,… Continue

3 Years Today..........

Posted on September 23, 2010 at 2:29pm 5 Comments

So, today that today is my spaztastic anniversary, me and my she-b!tch tazer wielding, stilleto wearing, bread knife wielding she-bitch in my skull have been riding

together for 3 years as of today.

It's not a happy anniversary or birthday, but it's certainly one that's

given me pause to think, after laughing at a sarcastic,

congratulatory PS message, I thought I would maybe share some mumblings or

musings or just come on and waffle for a while,…

Eagle syndrome???

Posted on October 29, 2009 at 8:54am 4 Comments

Hi guys have any of you looked at eagle syndrome as a cause of pain? it was something that I had always discounted, because of belief of true neuralgia, but something encouraged me to look at it in a bit more depth last night and I found it really interesting. SOme of this is fitting quite well, I have throat clicks, difficulty when dry swallowing, I have had my tonsils out, which I mentioned somewhere before, albeit more than 20 years ago, anyway I found this here…

You she-person, you!

On FB, Gracie told Yvonne that it was my "tone" not my "certain way with words". LOL! That statement makes me feel as if I were in elementary school...that's a good thing!

I got tasered 01/07, joined BT 03/07 and found 'us' 11/08. Expanded, you bet! I am still finding my way around...I think out of 2 years on here, I medicated-out for 3. ; )

Your friend, Yvonne, is very caring. If I don't get to, please tell her so. You are wealthy in having friends as she.

I see Twitter isn't your thing...I'll have to check you out at http://www.bensfriends.org

Gracie, I am still on a learning curve. Start on any search engine - HOW TO TWITTER - WSJ.COM

I started there, then went to you-tube videos.

You'll get tired of seeing this comment on some of your other 'sites'.LOL

Take good care, bob

I'm having a really nice day. Thanks for asking, and you?

Thanks for inviting all those people. People seem to find each other on Facebook and then they move over to this network. It's nice that you made them feel welcome.
