I finally updated my profile. I had MVD (right side) on January 10. It is very near the one month mark. The incision is healing nicely. I am recovering but do tire easily . The biggest "annoyance" is my right ear. I have a feeling of "fullness" or that it is "plugged". It is always plugged feeling and much of the time I can hear "feedback" when I talk...(hear my own voice in my head on the right side and can hear myself breathe). Has anyone else experienced this post MVD? If so, did it resolve itself with time OR ? The neurosurgeon will refer me to an ENT in a couple weeks if it doesn't resolve itself. At this point I don't know if it will. I am trying to be optimistic but it certainly isn't getting better. It is driving me nuts. However, it is a small price to pay for the possibility of a better quality of life (I keep reminding myself).
