Hi Jenny, I'm in the same boat, cold and windy aren't good.  Does anyone have any useful tips for dressing to go outside?

Hi,Just wanted to say helo to all the Aussies on here(oh andthe wonderful New Zealanders).I am from country Victoria (Gippsland) and am newly diagnosed. Im in process of having MRI and trialling Tergretol. Very scared and feel lost.

Had my flu shot last week. ( I have continual ATN ) - a year or so back I had the flu ( influenza not the cold) : 2 weeks of hell, not knowing if I was coming or going, hard to tell what was worse, the flu or the ramped up ATN. I dread the thought of even the common cold - any physical 'illness' is so much worse when it mixes with the ATN.

Hi Aussies and Kiwis , just a reminder to get your fluvax ASAP. I had mine a while age but have developed a head cold today . All sinus congestion and headache , only a simple cold but making my tn pain much worse . Flu would be unbearable . You still have time as peak flu season hasn't yet hit here.

Lyn, I'm so sorry things haven't gone well for you , when you hadn't posted I had hoped you were well and on with life . I hope the surgeon has an answer, perhaps movement of the teflon pad ? I'm hoping for the best for you.

I keep writing on this & then it drops out ! I have been trying to say that full blown (R) sided pain has returned after something "pinged " behind (R) ear where I had MVD , CSF leak & meningitis last july / Aug.Was off all meds ( Lyrica , Endep etc )but went to DR & now back on all including Oxycontin & Endone, Am due for review with nuerosurgeon next wk. wonder what he wiil say ?I have also been having (L) sided pain with occasional "electric shocks " some  more severe than others & pressure in forehead & front of face, was hoping to get back to work as RN  ,but not lokking good being on so many drugs! Has anyone else had failed MVDs & if so what was the outcome ? CHeers I"ll go back to seek solice in the garden now lol
