It went away( the left ear pain) after I got up and moved around, but I was scared at the time. Not thinking about it, at least for now. I'll only think about it if it turns into the pain of the right one(GN). That pain has traumatized me, I am afraid to get those attacks and I avoid things that might start it. I freak out with the pings and zaps of the right one, that is a warning it may come, if I get pings and zaps with a burning sensation, I know it's coming for me. Rather give birth to 2 10lb twins and causes anxiety. Not thinking about the left one! I am ok for now! Thanks Ro

if you can diana, try to go with the flow and not focus on "if's" ok? :) that helps sometimes when you just don't think so much about things ~

I slept on my left ear a few times and it is starting to feel like when the right ear started, scary for me. I don't think I can handle 2 sides with that pain. If it does happen, I hope they take turns!

Hi Sarah,
I think the NHS (especially all those delightful secretaries etc ) are just robots who are full of these pre-programmed speeches. They have a good job mind. They normally answer the phone 1 out of every 100 calls and in some cases don't even bother answering. I remember when I was trying and trying to get my scan results and eventually we dedicated one phone to the cause and kept it on auto-redial. After 6 hours no luck!!
They don't worry too much about paperwork either.

I hope you get seen soon.

Hiya gang, update, I rang Frenchay to see where I am on the waiting list to see the pain clinic, I was told 29th out of 30! well, no rush then!!! When I asked how long it would take for me to be seen the rather 'ahem' helpful (NOT) woman said 'Governement targets state you should be seen within 5 to 7 weeks' Was she reading from a script? oh I bet she was, full of humanity or full of (s**t)
Now I dont mean to winge but "I am in Pain, would love not to be so get me sorted" ha ha.
