Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) - Online Support Group

We are patients living with Trigeminal Neuralgia, here for your support.

I was down Monday afternoon all the way until yesterday because of my medication messing with me. And not to mention while they were changing my meds around I had a flare up. But I finally go back to work yesterday and was feeling great!  But here I  up at 4:30 am, I have been up for thirty minutes already. I went to bed last night with it hurting, but I hoped it have gone away by by morning. No such luck here. I have to work, this is not a choice I have. I have fmla, but I hate having to use it!!!  I will not call in today!  I will do everything in my power to be there. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Stacy, please don't be discouraged. So many of us here understand how you feel! Just do what you can, that's all any of us can do. It's good to be able to come here and "vent", though, isn't it? Hope it is some small comfort to know you're being heard. Hope your day gets better. Joan

Stacy, ,

, ouch, crap! I know.

I'm sitting at my desk at work right now, holding a hand-warmer on my cheek - it helps enough to make it through the day. Good luck. You're not alone

Damn straight.  I'm so screwed finish my degrees to fulfill my dreams, but you're close....so yell a bit.  It's all good.

I just hate it for everyone I work with...and my family :(  It is SO not fair to them for me to be this way!  This is NOT what my husband signed up for!

I hear ya! I am still sick!!!! Totally not fun with this. The incessant coughing was driving me mad and I had a melt down at work on Wednesday. Thank goodnes I only work a couple of hours during the day. TN is why!! So I totally feel you Stacy. I have been leaning on my husband a lil too much this past week too!! :(

Having this wretched affliction is like a battle sometimes. I swear.  It's really hard!!!
