My husband noted yesterday while watching a MLK show, that what he said (each word!) had impact—back then and now. I pondered if Dr. King knew of his future demise and used only words that would count? Then I went to a site that had his quotes (it is in the beginning of this discussion). So much wisdom in what he said. Funny thing is, he was killed around the time I was born and his words apply to the condition we find ourselves in today. It is so encouraging to keep these time-tested quotes close to my heart—they are so encouraging!

Gently bending HIPPA, at the nursing facility in 2005, a temporary aide had accused a 5th stage Alzheimer's patient of racism.

I knew the gentleman had walked with Dr. King in the Selma to Birmingham marches, and had a unique plaque that included a signed brick, with a photo of MLK.

When asked who the photo was of, the 90 year old man replied, "Me".

I don't know what the VERY temporary aide is doing now, I do know that, "Me" left a fine legacy. bob:)
